Are you looking for a soap that is good for all skin types and has great benefits that even dermatologist agree upon?
Jasmine Goat’s Milk Soap is wonderful soap to experience! A great moisturizer with many benefits to our skin that can help defend the daily bombardment of elements that we don’t even see while it’s happening.
Many of us today use commercial detergent bars that are not even soaps anymore. We are set on using the nice smelling and cheap detergent bars, that says buy me (commercial advertising) without knowing that these manufacturers take out the glycerin (moisturizes skin) that is produced in these bars, only to put the glycerin into lotions that you will buy for your dry skin. Kind of insidious!
On top of that big no, no ~ the ingredients may not be what you want on your skin and I would suggest reading my post: What’s in Store Bought Commercial Soaps? to have some relevant information when looking at the labels on your soap or detergent bar. You may be shocked at some of the information on the ingredients.
So, no ~ nothing is a miraculous here, though we can make different choices to help alleviate problems that may be occurring to our epidermis. The rule I try to live by is keep it simple with better ingredients, this alone will help your skins health. It may initially cost a little more, though you may not have to deal with additional products you may need to purchase for skin irritant issues. Like most any product, always make sure if you have sensitive skin to test anything you buy for your skin. Learn more about your skin here on my post: The Nature of Skin.
Out of the many soaps that I create, I have to tell you that the milk soaps are the ones I enjoy the most and notice the smoother and silkier feel. So, for me I picture myself like this, drawing a soothing hot bath to soak in with candles and no one to distract me!
Well, I can dream! In fact, these days we definitely need something to dream about, this will do for me. Relaxation!
Some of the properties of goat milk include: Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C & Vitamin E with the mineral Selenium. In addition to these you have alpha hydroxy acid (lactic acid) and high proteins which have been shown to:
- Softens & Moisturizes
- Helps Prevent Skin Allergies
- Fight Acne
- Natural Exfoliant: Removes Dead Cells
- Reverse Skin Damage
- Diminish Redness & Dark Spots
- Firms & Reduces Wrinkles
As we are all now looking at our health these days, both what we put in our bodies and on our bodies is relevant. Many times, our skin is leaching out what we are putting in our bodies, so at times it isn’t only about what are skin is experiencing from the outside – in, but what it is experiencing from the inside – out.
No, I will not go into our diets in this blog, but I will say that we need to take a more holistic view of our bodies to discover what is best for it. I am aware often in our families there are those who do not agree with our ideas of what is good and nourishing, but baby steps can work better if we slowly make the transition for ourselves and hope that others will come along aside us.
I would love to hear back from you and hope you have a good day and know that as a community we can come together and learn from one another. Stay positive. Make sure you have a friend to talk to and love one another! Until next time.
